For those of you who do not know, Oakland Raiders linebacker Rolando McClain was arrested today. He was charged with third-degree assault and three other misdemeanors. McClain was back home in Decatur and that is where the incident took place. The victim says he begged the Raider linebacker not to shoot him and the only shot fired hit McClain’s car.
All of that is troubling, but not as much as the expression on McClain’s face as he is being detained. That is the face of a man who doesn’t not care about what happened. Normally people are solemn when being loaded into a police car, but McClain decided to put on the goofiest smile he could think of. That expression actually scares me a bit because it makes him look borderline insane.
