In a game that meant nothing to the Cowboys, but everything to fantasy owners, Tony Romo left with a hand injury. Some accused the Cowboys of keeping Romo out to preserve him for next week’s showdown with the New York Giants, but after looking at the photo, I don’t think Romo could play.
I mean, look at the back of his hand. That is cartoonishly swollen. There’s no way that anyone could try to throw a football with that egg on the back of his hand.
Fantasy owners feel jilted, but Cowboys fans should be thankful that his hand isn’t broken. Next week’s game is the important one, so hopefully Romo can make a healthy return.
