Video: ESPN Analyst Martin Keown Gets Hit In Head With Soccer Ball

Ah, the dangers of onfield studio shows. Martin Keown of ESPN is the latest example to find out how dangerous being on the field can be. The ESPN analyst was attempting to break down some strategy when a Leeds United warmup kick rocketed into the side of his head.
Poor Keown didn’t even see it coming. No one gave him the complimentary “Heads Up!” or anything else of the sort. Keown shook off the hit fairly quickly, but I think his pride was dealt a serious blow. No one wants to be seen on national TV taking a soccer ball to the side of the head.
