Why the Broncos Tim Tebow Could Become an Instant Legend This Weekend
Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow has the chance to become an instant legend this week if he picks up another win this weekend against the New England Patriots.
I’m not saying he will be considered one of the greatest to have ever played the game but that he will go down in NFL lore. People will talk about him for years to come, and I will explain why.
Tebow has been one of the most polarizing figures in recent memory, he gets knocked for his ability to throw the ball (a pretty valid observation). Last week, he throws for 316 yards, 2 TDs, and ran for another against the number one passing defense, in an overtime thriller.
This week the Broncos face a team that beat them handily week 15, 41-23 . If Tebow could lead his team to another win this weekend against maybe the greatest playoff QB in NFL history in Tom Brady, this could make him an instant legend.
Think about this Tebow would beat maybe two of the best playoff QBs in history, they have accounted for five Super Bowl rings and seven Super Bowl appearances in the last ten years. You don’t think people would talk about this for years and years? A quarterback who struggled in the passing game, but somehow knocked off two of the best playoff performers in NFL.
The ball is in Tebow’s court to make another step this weekend and I would not be shocked if this kid pulled it off.
