Making a shot in your own basket can be highly embarrassing.  In the case of this high schooler, I think we can let it slide just a bit.

You have to love the hustle.  He’s going all out to save the ball and he unfortunately threw it into his own basket.  I mean, it sucks, but things happen.

He ended up featured on Sportscenter’s Not Top 10, so at least he’s getting recognition for it.  Takes a lot of skill to make a basket like that.
