Video: Fans Riot After Boxing Result in Argentina
This is the disturbing scene after fans went crazy after a boxing match in Argentina. Luis Lazarte and Johnreil Casimero’s fight ended in a TKO, and fans start throwing things in to the ring, and some even charged.
Lazarte has been banned from the IBF for his role in starting the riot, in which Casimero was assaulted by many fans after he beat Lazarte in the 10th.
Lazarte apparently threatened referee Eddie Claudio in the sixth round, asking him “Do you want to make it out of here alive?” Argentina is Lazarte’s home country, so no doubt the crowd was mostly in favor of him.
He is banned from any IBF event around the world hence forth; this doesn’t come as a surprise to the IBF as he has been notorious for breaking rules and being a dirty fighter.
