VID: Marquette coach Buzz Williams’ celebratory dance in Morgantown
Marquette Golden Eagles’ head basketball coach Buzz Williams is no stranger to dancing.
After a big-time dance by Darius Johnson-Odom in a March 2010 game, Buzz hit the national scene as a coach with some moves– creating a small-time Internet sensation.
It appears he had a few left in the tank.
Following a 61-60 road win for Marquette against the West Virginia Mountaineers in Morgantown, Williams broke out in a dance to John Denver’s “Country Roads” in what West Virginia fans claim was a direct taunt to them.
It was short and sweet, but fans of the Blue and Gold took exception, and had to be held back by facility personnel along the sideline as Williams sat down for his post-game interview with Bill Raferty.
Was Williams’ act a spontaneous expression of his joy due to a big road win or a classless taunt directed at WVU fans?
Depends on who you ask.

Classless. Dancing after beating an unranked team when you are ranked #10…not a good look.
