Division III Forward Paige Carlin Chooses Spring Break Over March Madness
Spring Break is good and all, but the chance to play in some version of March Madness is priceless. Then again, not all of us are wired that way. Take Paige Carlin for example. She’s the leading scorer for King’s College, but instead of playing in the team’s Sweet 16 game in the Division III tournament, she took off to Cancun.
Normally when you hear of things like this, it’s a role player or a bench warmer. I’ve never heard of the star player vanishing for spring break instead of a potential title. Carlin’s name has been taken off the roster, which means she won’t be welcomed back with open arms.
If I were her teammates, I’d remove her from my life. I have no place for people who think a vacation is more important than a potential title. It really shows where her heart, or lack of it, is at.
