Report: Mario Manningham Inks Two-Year Deal With The San Francisco 49ers
The San Francisco 49ers have reached a two-year deal with free agent wide receiver Mario Manningham according to the report by Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk. Manningham is the second wide receiver the 49ers have signed as Randy Moss was the first. With the two acquisitions the 49ers top three receivers are Michael Crabtree, Moss and Manningham.
At this point the 49ers focus now turns to the quarterback position. The question now becomes who will the 49ers starting quarterback be? Free agent Alex Smith, the starter for the 49ers in 2011 or recently released Peyton Manning who missed all of 2011 and had four surgeries on his neck in the past 18 months?
Either way 49ers fans will definitely be waiting intently on what the 49ers decision will be with the quarterback position now that the 49ers have significantly improved at wide receiver.
