Lamar Odom Blames Khloe Kardashian For Him Leaving Dallas Mavericks
Ah, nothing better than gossip. The latest rumors have Lamar Odom mad at his wife, Khloe Kardashian, for his departure from the Dallas Mavericks. For those who do not know, Odom was sent away from the team early in the week after a bad season and an altercation with owner Mark Cuban.
Odom wants nothing to do with reality television and he is apparently enraged at Kardashian for his failure in Dallas. Having to film a television show and play basketball was apparently too much for the fragile Odom. The Kardashians are apparently poison to professional athletes, so this had to be coming for a while.
However, I disagree that the television cameras caused Odom’s failure. I think Odom’s failure can be explained in one way. He simply did not think there was going to be a season this year. After the lockout, Odom was out of shape and he still is not back to game shape. He had the opinion that the season was lost and that he would not have to play basketball this year.
I do not know what is left for Odom’s career. He is getting up there in age and this Kardashian cloud may temper enthusiasm in teams that wish to acquire his services. If Odom is not ready to play, why would a team take a chance on him? If his head is not there, why would you expect him to help your team? It is a bad situation and it could be the end of Odom in league.
