Texas Rangers Have a Little Fun at Camden Yards
The evening after Josh Hamilton tied MLB history by hitting four home runs in a single game vs. the Baltimore Orioles, he and his fellow Texas Rangers teammates decided to have a little bit of innocent fun at Camden Yards before their game.
While waiting for the third game of their four-game series against the Orioles to commence after a rain delay,
Hamilton and fellow Texas Rangers Elvis Andrus, Michael Young, Yorvit Torrealba, Craig Gentry, Brandon Snyder and Robbie Ross made their very own “Slip N Slide” using the tarp which was covering the field.
If you are getting a sense of deja vu, it’s because the Rangers did the very same thing last year at Camden Yards, also during the middle of a rain delay.
Eventually, the game was postponed with the Rangers up 2 games to 0 in the series. With the Rangers holding a 20-10 overall record and the Orioles holding a 19-11 overall record, the teams are battling it out for the best record in the American League.
The Rangers are trying to right the ship after losing 3 straight series
The two teams will play a double-header this evening beginning at 4:05 CST.
