Maria Sharapova Hits Novak Djokovic In Groin With A Serve
Maria Sharapova is a pretty good tennis player. By pretty good, I mean she’s amazing. That being said, standing in front of her while she hits the ball is a bad idea. For whatever reason, tennis star Novak Djokovic was doing just that and took a serve right to an area where getting with a tennis ball would hurt a lot.
Apparently the were filming some type of commercial for a company and this might be one of the outtakes. Then again, it might be the actual commercial. It certainly is funny enough. As painful as it is, watching other people get hit in the groin will never not be funny.
The making of this video may have not been based in logic but it is pretty humorous. Sharapova nearly died laughing after she hit Novak. The plan might have been for her to try to hit the bottle off of his head, but she decided to aim a little bit lower. The bottle would have been cool but the groin is just too funny to pass up.
If you look at it, it does not look like Djokovic was prepared to take a shot there. He did not even react in time to do anything. I think Maria Sharapova decided to spice things up when she aimed below the belt. Hopefully Novak got some ice on that injury fairly quickly. Otherwise, he would have a good reason to be mad at her but he looks like he took it in stride.
