Jerry Jones is the owner of the Dallas Cowboys and he seems to be a pretty polarizing guy. There are some fans that love him and then there are some that hate him. He might have made more enemies on Wednesday as cameras caught the owner handing his glasses to someone else in order to have them cleaned.
I guess having a lot of money is a great thing. Not only does Jones have a football team and an amazing stadium, he can avoid mundane tasks like cleaning his glasses. Not only is this extremely funny, it can also raise serious questions about what else Jones does not do.
Does Jones pick out his own clothes in the morning? Does he actually go out and do his own shopping or does he have an army of people to do that for him? This actually fascinates me. As a guy who has a couple of jobs, I find the ability to have someone else clean your glasses as something totally foreign.
The life of a rich person must just be often. He obviously does not have a care in the world. Then again, I do not think that he expected the cameras to be on him as he handed his glasses off to someone else. Not exactly the world’s best PR move for a guy with more money than he knows what to do with.
I guess this is what happens when football comes back. Then again, I certainly won’t complain.
Update: Apparently the man doing the cleaning is Shy Anderson, a son in law of Jerry Jones. So this isn’t as funny but it still keeps a lot of the value.
