Tennessee Titans Wide Out Nate Washington Has Touchdown Catch Of The Season

Nate Washington may be the clubhouse leader for play of the year. The Tennessee Titans wide out may have had the touchdown catch of the year as he went over the back of Jacob Lacey to haul in the pass and the rumble for the touchdown. Seriously, you need to watch this to believe that it happened.

This catch is going to be the number one play on every highlight for at least two weeks.  It was a simply superb play to go over the defensive back to haul in the catch.  The fact that he turned it into a touchdown was simply the icing on top.  It was a great play as the Titans look to pull off a big upset in Nashville.

Washington has always had a lot of talent but he has never been able to put it all together.  After a play like this, he might be able to put together a solid season.  Plays like this have a weird way of giving a player a lot of confidence.  That may be all that he needs to turn in an awesome season.

I can not stop watching this catch.  It is the perfect balance of awesome concentration and just plain spectacular athleticism.  He basically stole the ball from Lacey and then scampered into the end zone.  Lacey had no idea what happened on that play.  I know for a fact that I would be shocked too.

Great job by Washington on this play.
