Titus Young and Shaun Hill were the two people that I thought would bring the Detroit Lions back on Sunday. Actually, I never thought that for one second. However, the backup QB hit the troubled wideout to force overtime with an amazing Hail Mary. Watch for yourself.
This game has been certifiably insane. We have seen the Music City Miracle part two along side the catch of the season. That is nuts for one single football game. I guess this really might be the game of the year so far, especially when you consider all the factors involved.
There have been plenty of plays from this week of games that you will see over and over again. This is certainly going to be one of them, thanks to the unlikely pairing of Young and Hill. Hill has been a career backup who came in to lead the Lions after Matthew Stafford was hurt and Young has always had some issues on the fiel.d
If the Tennessee Titans lose this game, it will be gigantic punch to the gut. They were up by 14 with just a shade over two minutes left. Blowing a lead like that is something you never see. In fact, it might be one of the worst collapses in any level of football.
This why we all love football. You get plays like this in games that look almost over. I love Sundays and so should every other red blooded American.
