Lance Armstrong is really trying to make amends now. His interview with Oprah will air on Thursday night, but it seems he is trying to get some more PR out there. He is talking about returning some of the taxpayer funds that his former team received.
JUST IN: Lance Armstrong is in talks to return a part of the millions in taxpayer dollars received by his U.S. Postal Service team

First off, I had no idea that cycling teams were going to receive funds from the taxpayers. That kind of sounds like a scheme if you ask me. Secondly, this move reeks of a PR stunt, but at least he is trying to do something positive. Giving back some of the money will help improve his image, which is all he is after right now.
I have no doubt that Armstrong took PEDs. There is simply too much evidence. I also doubt that he confesses to using them. However, the signs are starting to pop up about this. All the PR stuff he is doing now is to pump his image. That either means he will do everything short of admitting what went on or he will let it all spill. I am going to lean towards the former on that.
I really don’t care what he has to say in his interview because nothing important is probably going to get revealed. He is trying to save his image, so good for him.
