On Sunday night, Porsha Stewart defended her husband Kordell Stewart on the latest episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta.
However, the two are getting divorced and it’s not exactly an ideal situation for either of them. According to TMZ, Kordell filed for divorce on Mar. 22, citing their relationship was, “irretrievably broken.” Kordell also stated to TMZ that he does not want to pay spousal support because “She’s an able-bodied person, earning income and is capable of supporting herself.”
Porsha originally found out that Kordell had filed for divorce via Twitter. Yes, via Twitter. In an interview, she said she had gotten a phone call from her sister, telling her to check Twitter, and that’s when she first saw the news.
The strangest part of that awkward situation is the fact that the two are still living in the same house.
But, we get it.
It’s awkward, it’s sad and it’s gossip. It makes good TV for those tuning in around the country. Other than that though, who cares?
Porsha is reportedly against the divorce, so it appears as if Kordell is leading the charge in that regard. It’s not a fairy tale story, that much is clear. Kordell isn’t exactly “the man” for relaying the news that he filed for divorce via Twitter. Even if he did tell his wife directly, why even bother tweeting about it?
Come on, man. Now you have me writing about this, as if I cared.
