Johnny Manziel has been “strutting his stuff” ever since he was awarded with the Heisman Trophy for the 2012 NCAAF season. He’s been pictured with celebrities, partied in Cabo for spring break, got courtside tickets to multiple NBA games, and made a trick shot video with Dude Perfect.
However if you ask Manziel what the best moment of his offseason was, he would say that it was when he got to meet hip-hop/rap artist, Drake. He got the opportunity to meet Drake on a trip to Toronto and when he returned, Manziel claimed that he came back as “a completely different person.”
So how did this weekend visit change Manziel? I don’t quite see how hanging out with one of the top hip-hop artists in the world is going to change Manziel’s attitude. I’d like to know what him and Drake actually did up in Toronto. If all they did was party with celebrities, then it’s going to be a long season for this Texas A&M quarterback.
Hopefully Drake gave him some positive words of wisdom because the nation is going to have high standards for Manziel next season. You can’t win the Heisman as a freshman and then just give up on your team. He hasn’t exactly been “subtle” in the offseason considering we see pictures of him partying every other weekend.
If you ask me, Manziel is just walking around with a cocky attitude. He probably just wanted to let the whole nation know that he got to hangout with Drake for a weekend and we didn’t. We’re not seeing him in the news for donating to charity or visiting elementary schools; all we see is a crazy partier whom isn’t even 21 yet.
Oh, and in case you haven’t seen it yet, Johnny Manziel can’t successfully pitch a baseball over home plate.
