When it came to the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft, it’s safe to say no player was more fired up about being selected than former Syracuse star Justin Pugh as a video of one of the newest members of the New York Giants went viral after he celebrated with family and friends. Pugh still has a little bit of time before things really start to pick up with offseason workouts, but for now–he appears to just be having fun in his hometown of Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
The photos above are from some of the employees at Taormina’s Pizza and Pasta restaurant in Richboro, PA where Pugh was dining in on Tuesday night. The restaurant is one of two locations (with the other in Ivyland) that has some of the best Italian food in Bucks County and since Pugh is a Council Rock graduate–it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise to see him dining in locally.
What also shouldn’t come as a surprise is Pugh was kind enough to take some fan photos with some of the employees at the restaurant. For a writer that happens to be from the Bucks County area (and even spent some of his best years working at Taormina’s), I’ve heard nothing but the nicest things when it comes to Pugh as an individual and it will certainly be fun to watch him during his rookie season with the Giants–even if he is from Philadelphia Eagles country.
A special shout out and thanks to Jenna Scipione and Walter Engleton for providing the photos of Pugh for this article.
