Here’s a sentence I was hoping I would never have to say–Mike Tyson is getting his own animated comedy series titled Mike Tyson Mysteries.
No, that is not an error, Tyson is getting his own show on Adult Swim, but that’s not even the best part about the show. As if giving Tyson his own show wasn’t enough, it turns out his sidekick will be a talking pigeon.
Personally, I can’t wait to watch this show because Tyson may not be the smartest of people–but he’s quite the entertainment with everything he does. Just look at the first two movies of The Hangover and there’s no question this show has the potential to be so bad, it’s going to be hilarious.
Tyson has made numerous appearances in television shows and movies over the years–so it will be interesting to see what type of humor he brings to Adult Swim now that he’s getting his own show. Tyson has always been one of those professional athletes that is entertaining to follow without even trying and hopefully his new gig works out for the long run.
Come on–who would have thought we would receiver an opportunity to witness a show about Tyson solving mysteries with a talking pigeon each week? If you ask me, life simply doesn’t get much better than that and I’m already counting down the days until the series premiere down the road–whatever date that may end up being.
