We all know NBA players, and all professional athletes for that matter, like to get all tatted up and covered in uplifting phrases and motivational sayings. However, it’s the tattoo that Milwaukee Bucks star Larry Sanders received that has many people shaking their head.
You might think that the tattoo is some type of profanity or something seeing as to why many people are a bit flabbergasted by what he put on his hand, but it’s actually the exact opposite.
He put a sort of motivation on his hand that says ‘receive’. What’s the problem with that, you might ask? Well, he had receive spelled ‘recieve’. He must not have paid attention during his tattooing process or maybe just didn’t pay attention in first grade when everyone learned that ‘i’ comes before ‘e’ except after ‘c’.
Check out the hilarious picture here:
Sanders, a third-year player out of VCU, must not have even realized the misspelling as he seemed so proud of it on his Instagram picture. While he had good intentions by getting the tattoo on his hand to motivate him in some way to wait and be patient, the misspelling makes it more of an embarrassment than a good intention.
The Milwaukee Bucks might want to get him a pair of gloves to wear during the game because of the poor image it gives their big man.
Well, the moral of the story is simple: don’t get a tattoo without spell checking the word or phrase you want to use on your body.
Oh, Larry, you might want to get a laser removal.
