NFL Cheerleaders: Preseason Week 3
NFL Cheerleaders: Preseason Week 3
Week 3 of the NFL preseason is the dress rehearsal week. It's the week that teams play their starters the most, and the week that they see what their team is most likely to look like.
Some teams did well. Tony Romo and the Dallas Cowboys looked good against the Cincinnati Bengals, the Detroit Lions' defense was all over the field against the New England Patriots and the Indianapolis Colts were at the top of their game as well.
Some teams, however, did not look so good. The New York Jets and the Jacksonville Jaguars may have each found their starting quarterback by default. As bad as that is, it could be worse. The Buffalo Bills might have to start Matt Leinart. Yeah — that Matt Leinart.
Some groups disappointed. The Cleveland Browns only managed a measly six points after looking so good in the first two weeks. The Patriots also looked good so far in the preseason, only to fall flat on their faces this week.
But, one group that never needs a dress rehearsal are the lovely ladies that roam the sidelines. NFL cheerleaders are in regular season form all year long. They don't need practice games to be at their best; they get the crowd excited no matter what part of the season they're in.
And this week was no different. The cheerleaders came to play and gave a great performance. They brought excitement to games that don't count where backups or worse are on the field for half the time.
The cheerleaders are one of the best parts of watching the NFL, and they didn't disappoint in the "dress rehearsal" week.
