It was just a matter of time before Floyd “Money” Mayweather and Johnny Manziel — “The Money Badger” — would up in the same story. These two athletes are annoyingly famous at this point in time, so it wasn’t a big surprise to see Mayweather reach out to the Texas A&M Aggies‘ quarterback on Twitter.
Congratulations @JManziel2 for putting on a fantastic show. He may not be able to make money off himself but I can. pic.twitter.com/Tp3sKyznkq

However, it wasn’t just a normal shout-out for “Money May.” The world renowned boxer actually decided to post the betting stub from early this evening which made Mayweather even richer — of course.
The bet was that the Aggies would finish the first half of their game with at least a 17.5-point lead over the SMU Mustangs. Naturally, Mayweather sided with his pal Manziel and walked away with over $220,000 in the process. For those of you drooling over this, keep in mind that Mayweather recently Tweeted out his most recent check of over $41 million.
At the end of the day; this is just another example of a professional athlete with more money than he knows what to do with. Also, its another Johnny Football story that will probably result with even more people hating him…for no apparent reason, which is nothing new for the Aggies’ signal-caller.
