ISL Team Profile: FC Pune City

FC Pune City is the second franchise from Maharashtra in the ISL and will play all its home matches at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex. French star David Trezeguet is the club's marquee player, most notably recognized from being a World Cup and Euro champ. Kastouranis also brings some international success, from playing in 2 World Cups and winning Euro championship in 2004.

Initially, Salman Khan was supposed to partner the Wadhawan Group and Italian football club ACF Fiorentina to own FC Pune CIty. Due to certain contractual obligations with other brands preventing him from moving on with this project, Hrithik Roshan was brought in as a replacement. We think the replacement might even be a better option than Plan A. Pune City will have fans across the nation as a result.
