Nike's only stake at this year's Cricket World Cup is India. Whereas a company like Adidas has sponsored the kits of both South Africa and England, Nike has chosen to just bleed blue.

Nike - the largest and most known sports brand in the world - signed a five-year contract with India in 2005 ( million /yr), that was later extended for five years in 2011 ( million / yr).

Nike's timing with India could not have been better. No matter what anyone says, India is No. 1 in terms of fans that love cricket. The nation is cricket-crazy and if Nike were to pick just one side to put all its resources into, there's no better option. Since signing with them, India has won the World Cup (2011) and the ICC Champions Trophy in England two years later.

Additionally, the individual improvement of Virat Kohli has been huge.

Kohli has surpassed Sachin Tendulkar as the most-followed Indian athlete on Twitter. On Facebook, he's No. 2 behind Sachin. Kohli's rise has a direct impact on Nike's success with India as Kohli is clearly the team's No. 1 player now. Against PAK, Kohli put up 107 in a historic victory, becoming the first Indian cricketer to score a ton against PAK in a World Cup match.

Nike may only have India, but in Cricket, that's more than enough.
