Adrianne Haslet was at the 2013 Boston Marathon when the bombs went off. She ended up losing her left leg in the tragic events, but she’s been the embodiment of ‘Boston Strong’ ever since. Haslet set a goal of entering the 2016 Boston Marathon and finishing the race no matter what it took.
She did it.
In just under 10 hours, Haslet crossed the finished line accompanied by friends and family members, and with tears in her eyes. She had a “pit crew” along the course to help service her prosthetic leg, but she achieved her goal of finishing the race.

Before the race, Haslet got some words of encouragement from Tom Brady.
If ever you needed an inspirational story, there aren’t many out there better than this one. Congratulations to Adrianne on overcoming the odds.
