Video: Brian Scalabrine’s Three Big Blunders
Brian Scalabrine went for the trifecta of mistakes on three consecutive possessions against the Atlanta Hawks on Friday night. The Bulls swingman was faked out of his shoes by Jeff Teague for a bucket to start the onslaught. The very next play the Bulls moved the ball down the floor only for Scalabrine to be stuffed by Josh Smith. To make matters worse, Scalabrine fell on the ball and tossed it to Atlanta’s Willie Green, who proceeded to start a 2-on-1 fastbreak for a bucket. You couldn’t do much worse on three consecutive possessions than Brian Scalabrine accomplished against the Hawks in Atlanta. The Bulls were waxed by the Hawks on their second game of a back-to-back set. Brian Scalabrine and Chicago return to action on Sunday against the Detroit Pistons. Most likely Scalabrine will not have the opportunity to redeem himself since he rarely gets off the Bulls bench.
