Dwight Howard To Stay In Orlando, Magic To Trade For Deron Williams Instead
In early December when Dwight Howard requested a trade to either the New Jersey Nets, Dallas Mavericks, or Los Angeles Lakers, it seemed like just a matter of time until he was traded. But new reports have come out indicating that Howard does not want to be traded anymore and he would like to stay in Orlando. Multiple NBA sources have also confirmed that Howard has been heavily pursuing Nets point guard Deron Williams to come over to Orlando once he is a free agent this summer.
These same sources also said that the Magic, instead of trying to trade Dwight Howard, are trying to trade for Deron Williams which would almost assure that Howard would stay in Orlando. Sources also confirmed that it is an 80 percent chance that Howard will return but it is a 100 percent chance that he will return if in fact the Magic do acquire Deron Williams.
The chance of a Deron Williams trade now seems more likely as Williams has come out publicly and said that he is frustrated with the Nets play, as of late, and also with the Nets front office and how they have handled things recently. Howard has certainly been one of the highest sough after free agents in recent memory not only because of the fact that he is currently the best center in the NBA, but because fellow general managers knew that Howard was unhappy and wanted to be traded, which now isn’t the case.

Magic don’t have anything to offer the Nets for Deron Williams.
Neither did the Lakers when they got Pau Gasol haha, crazier things have happened.
@Joshua Casey
You are really making sense right now Lakers hater, how come haters like you have to sound like cowards who are not dare to face reality. At least Houston is willing to give up Luis Scola, Kevin Martin, Goran Dragic, and their first round pick for Gasol.
Can you find any combination from the Magic roster except D12 to get those kind of deal?
The magic have plenty of players to offer new jerseys look at the rooster an rethink ur answer plus draft picks
@Tmca9121 Yeah I agree with you like I said the Lakers didn’t have anyone (at the time as Marc Gasol was an unknown prospect) when they got Pau.
Of course they have assets to give…Big Baby, Ryan Anderson who’s on a tear, Jameer, Hedo’s contract, J Rich, Reddick who’s playing good as of late.
