Video: President Barack Obama Talks NBA With Bill Simmons

After years of trying, ESPN’s Bill Simmons finally got President Barack Obama on a podcast.  In this section of the podcast, Obama talks NBA with Simmons.

The two topics covered were Jeremy Lin and the Chicago Bulls.  Obama claims to have known of Jeremy Lin before anyone else, so Linsanity might have started at the White House.

Obama joked about having the Bulls stop by the White House in the next five years.  Of course, this means he hopes they win a title.

I’m not a fan of Obama, but I can respect his sports knowledge.  He is truly a fan.  He loves basketball and it shows in this podcast.  All NBA fans should listen to the podcast.
