Miami Heat Should Consider Trading For JaVale McGee?
The Miami Heat are one of the unlikeliest candidates to be making roster moves at this upcoming NBA trade deadline. However, with a need for a compliment to Chris Bosh and possibly someone better than Joel Anthony, Ira Winderman of the Sun Sentinel asks if the Heat should trade for JaVale McGee.
McGee is a premiere dunker and block shot machine. Currently, McGee is averaging 11.5 points, 8.9 rebounds and 2.6 blocks per game and the Wizards are open to trading him since they are open to trading anyone except John Wall.
But there’s a catch. If a team wants a player, they will have to take on the contact of Andray Blatche as well.
Blatche has an attitude problem and if the Heat decide to go after McGee, Blatche has the potential to conflict with the superstars on the team.
On the other side, Blatche could be blessed to play with such superstars like LeBron James, DeWayne Wade and Bosh and could benefit greatly from the talent those three players posses.
