Ricky Rubio Set To Have Knee Surgery in Vail, Colorado This Wednesday
Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Ricky Rubio suffered a season-ending knee injury on March 10th, and it had yet to be announced when the Spanish superstar would begin the rehabilitation process.
According to this tweet from Rubio earlier today, the surgery will take place this Wednesday in Vail, Colorado:

With the typical rehabilitation process for a torn ACL taking a substantial amount of time, Rubio could miss being a part of a Timberwolves playoff appearance which he had so much to do with.
Chances are though, with a strong young core of talented players, the Wolves will be in the mix many times in the future and Rubio will have the chance to be rewarded for his hard work.
You have to be impressed with his positive attitude in a very rough time.
