Antoine Walker Sells 2006 NBA Championship Ring
Former NBA star and current Idaho Stampede of the NBDL, player Antoine Walker, has sold his 2006 Miami Heat NBA Championship Ring for $21,500 as part of a bankruptcy settlement.
The settlement is in lieu of Walker declaring personal bankruptcy in May 2010, ”after blowing the $110 million he made as a player (as well as the unspecified millions he landed in endorsements) due to a lavish lifestyle, a series of disastrous real estate deals, sizeable gambling losses and well-intentioned largesse.”
TMZ reported that the ring has been tentatively sold to a man named Andres Garcia.

This is yet another sad story from the life of Antoine Walker. The once Boston Celtic and Miami Heat star has had nothing but dissapointment in the past few years.
I am hopeful that his comeback in the NBDL goes well and we will soon see his shimmy once again.
