VID: Dwyane Wade Drains 65 Foot Buzzer Beater
Dwyane Wade has not taken many threes this year, but they have counted when he has. In Sunday’s high profile matchup between the Miami Heat and the Oklahoma City Thunder, Oklahoma City was putting the screws to Miami when Wade tried to take over. This 65 foot buzzer beater cut the Thunder lead to ten entering the fourth quarter.
Wade hasn’t taken as many threes as he normally as. It’s the weakest part of his game, so it makes sense that he takes less of them. This has lead to an increase in his shooting percentage, which makes the Heat even more deadly.
However, they don’t look the part Sunday night. Way too many turnover and defensive lapses have let the Thunder dominate for much of the game. The Heat are known for killing teams on the fast break, but they are getting worked on it tonight.
There is still time for the game to turn, but it looks like Oklahoma City will win this possible Finals preview. At least Wade will have a top ten play.
