Mark Cuban Says He Is Willing To Fight Mikhail Prokhorov
Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban can say some of the most absurd things. His big mouth has donated its fair share of money to the NBA for various comments. New Jersey Nets owner, Mikhail Prokhorov, wants to see how big the bite is from Cuban’s tongue.
Deron Williams, the Nets soon to be free agent point guard, is considering leaving. Mark Cuban hopes that he will choose to join the Mavericks, rather than be the star at the new $1,000,000,000 (yes, that’s $1 billion) arena Prokhorov is building for the Nets.
So what happens if Williams signs with the Nets?
“May the best man win,” Prokhorov quipped. “If he wins, I will crush him with the kickboxing throwdown.”
Cuban respnoded, “He knows not what he gets himself into.”
This is not the first time these two have been in a spat either, as Cuban and Prokhorov exchanged words last summer over each other’s manhood. Well, let’s prove it this summer, even if Williams decides to stay in Brooklyn.
I don’t know about you, but I would pay to see this happen. Cuban has competed in WWE in 2003 and 2009, but I seriously doubt he would stand a chance against Prokhorov. We all know how ‘real’ WWE matches are.
At 6’3″, Cuban not only gives up six inches, he also gives up seven years to the Russian. Hailing from Soviet Russia during the Cold War, I’m sure Mikhail received some training in self defense as a young lad.
Still, who doesn’t want to see wealthy billionaires fight it out like ten year old girls on a playground to get the attention of the cute boy? Everybody likes a fight every once in a while.
I’ve got Prokhorov in a knockout. How about you?
