PIC: Jay-Z and Beyonce Sit Courtside At Knicks-Heat Game
Sunday’s matchup between the New York Knicks and the Miami Heat is going to be a great one. All the big names came to Madison Square Garden to watch, including Jay-Z and Beyonce. As some Twitter user joked, Jay is probably scouting these teams for when his New Jersey Nets move to Brooklyn.
This game is big in a lot of ways. The Heat are trying to close in on the Chicago Bulls for the number one seed. The Knicks are trying to push their way past the Philadelphia 76ers and Orlando Magic to get the six over seven seed. They are also trying to pull away from the Milwaukee Bucks.
This is going to be a game where LeBron James and Dwyane Wade have to play great. The Knicks are playing great at home under Mike Woodson and the Heat struggle on the road. Not exactly a good combination for the Heat. Many people are wondering if this team will flame out again in the playoffs.
If the Heat lose this, it will probably lock them in to the two seed, as they would fall four back of the Bulls with only a handful of games left. Not a lot of time to make up a bunch of ground.
At least Jay-Z and his wife will get some quality basketball action today. Nothing better than a big Sunday matchup at MSG. Makes basketball so much better. Hopefully the game is a good one and not a blowout. Otherwise, that’s a waste of money.
