Philadelphia 76ers CEO Asks You To Play GM
If you were in-charge of the Philadelphia 76ers, which players would you keep and which players would you trade from the team? That is the question CEO Adam Aron of the Sixers posed to his fans via Twitter Wednesday afternoon.
It seems like that Aron is completely fed up with his basketball team and is looking to start a fire sale of some sorts. Philadelphia started out hot out of the gate. They were 7-2 to start the season and now are looking at a potential eight seed in the playoffs if they could hold off the Milwaukee Bucks a few more days.
The Sixers came into their game against the Cleveland Cavaliers Wednesday on a three-game losing streak and losers of seven out of their last nine games. However, the tide turned when Philadelphia defeated Cleveland 103-87 on the road which puts them in even better shape to lockup a playoff spot.
Led by the likes of Louis Williams, Jrue Holiday and Thaddeus Young. The young Sixers team is really making a name for themselves by getting the team back to the playoffs for the second straight year under head coach Doug Collins.
However, the Sixers are facing a potential matchup with the Chicago Bulls in the first round of the playoffs which is not the preferred matchup that any of the Sixers nor the fans want. However, Aron’s tweet shows that he does not have a lot of confidence in his team this season. I do not agree that Aron should have tweeted this at all.
