VIDEO: Tyson Chandler Flagrant Foul On LeBron James
The NBA playoffs are already getting chippy. The Miami Heat are currently stomping on the New York Knicks, but there has been some interesting plays. Tyson Chandler tried to set a screen on LeBron James, but he put a little too much into it. It was a hard foul, but look at the way LeBron sells it.
It was originally ruled a Flagrant 2, which is an ejection. After review, it was downgraded to a Flagrant 1 and Chandler was allowed to stay in the game. It was unnecessary, but James certainly had a hand in it. I mean, watch him. Is there a sniper in the building? LeBron James is built like a truck. Are you going to tell me that forearm to his BACK made his whole body turn into a noodle.
A Tyson Chandler flagrant foul has to hurt, I’ll give you that. I do not enjoy the sell job by LeBron. I realize that everyone does it, but come on. You guys are pro athletes. That is not going to drop a guy like LeBron. He is too big and too strong. That should have been a simple foul, nothing more. The acting job was what sold it.
We will see more of this as this series goes on. The teams do not like each other and plays like this will keep fueling the fire. Watch out for more hard fouls and more acting jobs. It is all about getting the whistle and Miami is winning that battle today.
