Dwyane Wade looks to get back being Flash
Dwyane Wade is preparing to come back as a different animal.
Recently Wade told The Associated Press “I feel good. Rehab is going very well.”
Which means that there will be a Flash sighting this upcoming season.
All of last season, especially during the post season Wade was criticized for his inconsistency and the way that LeBron James carried the Miami Heat. Wade admitted that it had to be ‘LeBron’s team’ and that he himself had to become the sidekick in order for the team to reach their maximum potential. Although that is true Wade fans, supporters, and critics all were able to see that he just wasn’t healthy for the majority of the Heat’s 2012 title run.
Wade’s knee was drained in the second round of the playoffs and for the majority of the playoffs he seemed to lack explosion and speed. He also had to endure a custody battle with his ex-wife over his two sons. All issues that clearly and naturally effected his play.
Wade registered his second-lowest points per game averages of his career in the 2012 regular season and postseason. His 22.8 points per game in the 2012 postseason was the lowest in his career since his rookie season, and his 22.1 points per game in the2012 regular season was the lowest since his rookie season.
Wade is a superstar that after having knee surgery, resting, and getting his family situation stabilized will be primed and ready to return to the level of play he played at in 2006 when he was the NBA Finals MVP.
