Tim Tebow seemingly can’t lose this week. After an epic performance in a Denver Broncos win on Sunday, Tebow has been all over the news. In the ESPN Sports Poll, Tebow has even ascended to the top of America’s favorite athletes. The poll, which has taken place for 18 years, named Tebow America’s favorite current athlete with three percent of the vote. This put him ahead of Aaron Rodgers, Kobe Bryant, Peyton Manning and Tom Brady.
It is the fastest rise to the the top in the 18 years of the poll. The poll was based off of 1,052 interviews with sports fans above the age of 12 all across America. Tebow also helped make ESPN’s episode of First Take on Monday achieve the highest ratings that it has ever had.
So Tebow is continuing to rise to the top. The only negative is that it makes Skip Bayless even more annoying. Maybe Tebow can take care of that at some point as well.
