Tim Tebow To Be Traded If Denver Broncos Land Peyton Manning
It has been reported that if indeed the Denver Broncos land the rights to future Hall of Fame Quarterback Peyton Manning…The Broncos would trade, not release Tim Tebow according to the report. If Manning signs elsewhere, the Broncos are inclined to keep Tebow and shore up the position through the draft and free agency.
I think if I were Tebow I would be a little upset with the organization and would get the hint that the Broncos do not want Tebow as their future QB. If they did want him as their future then they would be doing everything possible to get Manning and let Tebow sit behind him a couple seasons. I’m not for sure if Manning told Denver if he came they would have to let Tebow go or if it is all the Broncos idea, but either way the Broncos organization is saying were done with Tebow if Manning comes here.
The report also stated that the Jacksonville Jaguars may have interest in Tebow if Manning goes to Denver. I’m not sure what the Broncos asking price would be, but I would hope at least a couple draft picks in the 2nd-4th round range. Just two years ago the Broncos traded a few draft picks to move into the 1st round to draft Tebow and he did show some signs of a QB last season in Denver.
I am a huge Bronco fan and I would love to see Manning in Denver and Tebow behind him for a couple seasons, but I also understand that it would be a tough situation for Tebow and it may be best in Denver and Tebow part ways if Manning come to town. I just hope they get a little something for the future if they trade Tebow.
