Guys to Start:
QB Ben Roethlisberger, PIT (vs. CIN) – Big Ben has only thrown one touchdown in each of the last three games, but will bounce back against an injured Cincinnati defense.
QB Tim Tebow, DEN (@ MIN) – Tebow has shocked the world by winning four straight games, but more importantly has shown that he can put up respectable fantasy numbers.
RB Ray Rice, BAL (@ CLE) – Rice will explode against a Browns’ defense that let the Bengals’ gash them for 132 yards on 32 carries last week.
RB Mark Ingram, NO (vs. DET) – Ingram has really turned it up in recent weeks and has become the Saints’ donw-hill runner. He will only get more chances to score as New Orleans heads towards the playoffs.
WR Nate Washington, TEN (vs. BUF) – Washington plays a Bills’ defense that has given up 21 touchdowns through the air, so expect Washington to have a huge game.
TE Tony Gonzalez, ATL (@ HOU) – “Gonzo” has been the best receiving option in Atlanta, as his 8 touchdowns are more than Roddy White and Julio Jones combined.
IDP: DeMarcus Ware, DAL (@ ARI) – Backup quarterback John Skelton has been sacked 12 times in four starts so expect Ware to have a career game.
Guys to Sit:
QB Andy Dalton, CIN (@ PIT) – Dalton will struggle in his first game at Heinz Field especially considering that starting running back Cedric Benson might not be able to play this weekend.
QB Philip Rivers, SD (@ JAC) – Rivers has improved tremendously is recent weeks, but he unfortunately plays a punishing Jags’ defense. Do not expect more than a couple touchdowns in the entire game as the game will likely be a defensive chess match that ends 13-10.
RB Steven Jackson, STL (@ SF) – “S Jax” has a horrible matchup this weekend in San Francisco playing a defense that has yet to allow a rushing touchdown in 2011.
RB Shonn Greene, NYJ (@ WSH) – Greene has not scored a touchdown since week five and has been a severe disappointment for fantasy owners all year.
WR Jabar Gaffney, WSH (vs. NYJ) – Gaffney has been the Skins’ best receiving option in recent weeks, but he will struggle to find room between Darrelle Revis and Anotnio Cromartie.
WR Anquan Boldin, BAL (@ CLE) – Boldin will be blanketed by a Bengals’ defense that has only given up 11 touchdowns this season.
TE Dustin Keller, NYJ (@ WSH) – Keller had an amazing game last week with 2 touchdown catches, but he will struggle against a very athletic set of Redskin linebackers.
IDP: Lance Briggs, CHI (vs. KC) – Briggs will have a tough time getting tackles against a Chiefs’ team that will likely be throwing the ball more to catch up.
