The fantasy basketball regular season may be over, but with the playoffs just beginning this is the perfect time to grab a couple last second free agents. Below is my latest compilation of free agents to pickup before your competitors:
Small Leagues 8-10 man leagues
PG Isaiah Thomas, SAC – Thomas has averaged an amazing 20 points and 6.8 assists in the last five games.
SG Randy Foye, LAC – Foye has really turned it on at the perfect time with a 21.6 points over his last three games.
SF Tayshaun Prince, DET – Prince has been on fire with 20 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 3.6 assists in the last five contests.
PF Chris Kaman, NO – The “Caveman” is healthy after missing five games with a mystery illness.
C Nikola Pekovic, MIN – Pekovic is back in the starting lineup, and scored 17 points in his first 19 minutes back in action on Monday.
Large Leagues: 10-14 man leagues
PG Baron Davis, NYK – With Jeremy Lin likely the remainder of the season following knee surgery, Davis is the only other point guard left on the Knicks’ roster.
SG Iman Shumpert, NYK – “Shumpy” will also be back in the starting lineup for the Knickerbockers as they try to make their playoff push.
SF Terrence Williams, SAC – Williams has earned a permanent roster spot after originally only being signed on a 10-day contract. He played a shocking 32 minutes last game and registered 12 points with 12 rebounds off the bench.
PF Glen Davis, ORL – “Big Baby” racked up 18 points and 16 rebounds in Dwight howard’s absence, but his stellar performance will certainly get him more playing time as the season wears on.
C Kevin Seraphin, WSH – Seraphin has averaged 30 minutes in the last five games, posting 13 points and 5.2 rebounds per contest.
