The last thing a fantasy owner wants to hear is that their star player is out for the rest of the season with an injury.
This is something that drives owners to do very drastic things. There will be talks of trading for players that have half the talent and who hardly have any potential, or some even select to give up on the rest of the season. This is how many Julio Jones fans must feel especially after hearing that he may be out for the rest of the season.

Before you go and do something drastic, there may be some help for you, and that help could come from an Atlanta Falcons teammate.
If you need someone to replace your team’s wide receiver depth, consider Harry Douglas. Harry Douglas is currently the third receiver on the depth chart for the Falcons. He has seen some action this year, averaging 43.8 yards per game. Now, I know these are not Jones numbers, but consider these factors.
First, the Falcons are 1-4. This is not how this team, who was in the NFC Championship Game just last year, expected to start the year. The team is going to need to score points and a lot of them. That means quarterback Matt Ryan will be looking to throw more passes to help win these games.
Second, if the team needs to throw the ball more, Douglas is going to be one of their better options. The team’s two top receivers, Jones and Roddy White, are both injured. White looks to return to the team after the bye week, but his injury seems like it will be lingering all season long. By default, Douglas will get more looks in the passing game, meaning more yards and more points for your fantasy team.
Look at it this way: If you own Jones, then you need someone to fill the spot he is going to leave. You can try to trade for a player, but probably won’t get the type of player that Jones was for your team. Pick up Douglas — it’s worth a shot. After all, someone from the Falcons has to catch the ball, right?
