Week 15 Fantasy Football IDP Sleepers: Defensive Line

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

Each week of the fantasy football season, there are plenty of sleeper articles out there for offensive players. However, there are never enough IDP sleepers. So to help set your final lineup in IDP leagues, here are some fantasy IDP sleepers on the defensive line for Week 15.

DL Chris Clemons, Seattle Seahawks – Clemons was red-hot when the season started, as he had 3.5 sacks through the first five games. However, knee and elbow injures have slowed down the defensive end in recent weeks. Clemons is finally healthy and registered a sack last weekend for the first time since the middle of October.

DL Greg Hardy, Carolina Panthers – Hardy hasn’t been very magical this year, but the Kraken has been slowed down recently by a knee injury. He seems to be over his mid-season slump, though, as the defensive has racked up two sacks over the last four games. Hardy should feast on a struggling New York Jets team this Sunday.

DL Osi Umenyiora, Atlanta Falcons – Osi is another popular end that has struggled as of late. He hasn’t recorded a sack in the last three games and has found himself on the waiver wire in some smaller IDP formats. Umenyiora will be a sneaky play against the Washington Redskins this week, though. The Skins have decided to bench QB Robert Griffin III and will let Kirk Cousins be the starter, so there is bound to be some rust for the backup quarterback. Look for Umenyiora to register at least one sack for fantasy owners in the second round of the playoffs.
