If you haven’t figured it out already, Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton has developed into a pretty decent weekly fantasy football quarterback. Cincinnati is leading the AFC North with a 9-5 record, and it is almost entirely due to the play of their franchise quarterback.
Dalton may have struggled with interceptions for a couple weeks last month, but he was still able to score multiple touchdowns to somewhat compensate for the turnovers. He has bounced back to throw 11 passing touchdowns over the last five games and the statuesque quarterback even added a rushing touchdown last week. All quarterbacks go through minor slumps and Dalton has been no different, but he finally appears to be over his midseason hiccup.
Dalton will have a favorable matchup this Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings, who have been getting abused by opposing offenses all year long. The Vikes are giving up an ungodly 20.3 fantasy points per contest to opposing quarterbacks and have allowed every fantasy signal caller to put up decent numbers against them week after week. Cincy has to be salivating at this matchup.
Dalton may have had some rough outings throughout the season, but this is the week to get him active. He will be good for another couple touchdowns against Minnesota’s dreadful secondary and the Red Riffle will put up numbers in all formats.
