Hamilton went 2-for-4 with a run scored on Sunday, and in his last three games he was 8-for-12 with four runs, two home runs and five RBI. Hamilton's average for the season now sits right at .500 and through six games he looks like a guy who could provide serious value for fantasy owners who took a shot on him in the eighth round.

If you drafted Revere you're hoping for a lot of steals, a solid average and whatever else you can get from him is just icing on top. Through six games Revere has four steals, is hitting .286 and has eight runs and RBI. Revere was hitting .305 last season and was on pace for 40 steals when he went down with a season-ending injury, and in his first three seasons he had 96 steals in 329 games.

Trending Up: Alex Wood

In my most recent top 300 Alex Wood was ranked 47th among starting pitchers, and through two starts he's lived up to those expectations. Wood is currently 1-1 with a 1.93 ERA, 0.86 WHIP and nine strikeouts through 14 innings. His off-speed pitches have been absolutely filthy. He's thrown 80 off-speed pitches and opposing hitters have just one hit off of them. He'll look to keep the ball rolling next week against the Nationals again.

Pineda held the Blue Jays to just one run, walked nobody and scattered five hits and five strikeouts across six innings en route to a tough-luck loss on Saturday. Most importantly, Pineda looked healthy. His fastball sat at 93 for most of the day, and he was able to hit 95 on the gun. His slider was excellent as four out of five strikeouts came on the pitch. Pineda is scheduled to take on the Red Sox on Thursday.

Heading into 2014, Jered Weaver's fastball velocity had been on a three-year decline, and through two starts it looks like that decline is going to continue. Weaver currently boasts an ERA of 6.00 to go with a 1.17 WHIP, 12 strikeouts and four home runs allowed in 12 innings.

Trending Down: C.C. Sabathia

Through two starts Sabathia is 1-1 with 12 strikeouts, a 7.50 ERA and a 1.33 WHIP in 12 innings. Sabathia hasn't lost his control (he's issued just one walk so far and he's thrown 69 percent of his pitches for strikes), but he's clearly lost some of his stuff. He's struggling to hit 90 MPH on his fastball and opponents are hitting .429 off of it.

Jim Johnson recorded his first save of the season -- after blowing his first two save chances -- on Sunday, but it wasn't pretty. Johnson allowed a lead-off walk, a single and a long fly out to the warning track before striking out two and picking up the save. Johnson should still have a long leash, but his performance early hasn't been encouraging.

Manny Parra picked up a two-inning save for the Reds on Sunday. The Reds' bullpen is a mess at the moment, and once Jonathan Broxton returns the ninth inning job will be his until Aroldis Chapman can return.

Chad Qualls, not Josh Fields, picked up the save for the Astros on Sunday. Josh Fields hasn't pitched since Apr. 5, so this clearly wasn't a case of just giving him the night off. This looks like it's shaping up to be a true closer-by-committee situation which is not good for fantasy owners.
