Fantasy NASCAR Rankings For 2014 Aaron’s 499

Biffle had another tough qualifying round this week and he will start back in 36th for the Aaron's 499. This is another week to avoid the veteran at all costs.

Hamlin has always struggled at Talladega. He has an average finish of 20.19 here and will have to start all the way back in 34th.

Almirola has cracked the top-17 in three of the last four races this season.

McMurray has three straight top-17 finishes. He may start back in 33rd, but expect him to quickly crack the top-20.

Newman continues to show up race after race. The veteran has eight straight top-20 finishes and will be the ultimate sleeper pick this Sunday.

Busch has an average finish of 16.73 at Talladega and will always be worth a top-15 pick on this track.

Earnhardt Jr. is having breakout season, as he has five top-five finishes in nine races. Unfortunately, he will start this race back in 31st and Junior will have a tough road ahead of him this Sunday.

AJ has surprisingly finished inside the top-15 in four of the last five races. He will certainly be worth a mid-level pick this weekend.

Kahne looked solid in practice this week and will start back in 17th. He hasn't cracked the top-10 here in the last three races, though, and will be one of the riskier picks.

Menard started 34th in the last race at Talladega, but he managed to climb all the way up to the front of the pack and finish in fourth. He will start this year in second and seems primed to have another strong showing.

Stewart has five top-17 finishes in the last six races. He will start this weekend in 12th and will have another productive fantasy outing.

Harvick will be a popular pick due to his eighth place starting spot, but he hasn’t cracked the top-10 here in the last five years. Fantasy fans should be careful reaching for him this weekend.

Bowyer has seven top-12 finishes in the last nine races at Talladega, including two wins. Don’t let the 28th place starting spot scare you, because Bowyer will be a solid fantasy option this Sunday.

Gordon has three straight top-15 finishes at Talladega Superspeedway. Look for the Rainbow Warrior to easily make in four in a row as he starts this year in 11th.

Kenseth has three top-eight finishes here in the last four races.

Edwards heads to Talladega with eight consecutive top-15 finishes. He will start this year in 10th and will the safest pick to grab this weekend.

Johnson has finished inside the top-17 three straight years here. He has struggled here at times (35th-5/2012, 26th-10/2011), so don't go all in with Johnson if there is a more reliable option out there.

Busch has cracked the top-five at Talladega in three of the last four races. He will be near the front of the pack all afternoon long.

Keselowski has two career wins at Talladega. He is one of the only veterans starting within the top-15 this year and the #2 car should have no problem making up some ground.

No driver is hotter than J-Lo right now. Logano has won two of the last three NASCAR races and he will be a very popular fantasy option this weekend.
