Top 25 Fantasy Golfers For 2014 PLAYERS Championship
The PLAYERS Championship always features the biggest names on the tour. To help you choose your squad this week, here are the top-25 fantasy golfers for the 2014 PLAYERS Championship.

Jacobson has surprisingly racked up five top-20 finishes in his last six tourneys. He will certainly be worth a pick inside the top-25 this week.

Despite literally no media attention this year, Schwartzel has cracked the top-20 in three of his last four tournament appearances.

Walker has three wins and 12 top-25 finishes this year. He may have cooled off in recent weeks, but that is no reason to ignore him this week.

Bradley hasn’t cracked the top-30 at TPC Sawgrass in three attempts. He is having an erratic season and will be a risky pick this week considering his lack of success here.
21. Kevin Na

Na has cracked the top-18 in five of the last seven tournaments. His short game has been outstanding this spring and he will be a great late-round pick this week.
20. Jim Furyk

Furyk has five consecutive top-20 finishes this year and he was on fire in the final round of the Wells Fargo, as he shot seven under on Sunday. The veteran once again proved that he can be a worthy sleeper pick.

English finished 33rd and 64th here in his two previous attempts. Luckily, he made the cut both times and the 24-year-old is in the middle of a career season (6 top-10's). English won't exactly be a threat to win the PLAYERS Championship, but he should be able to do enough to be a top-20 fantasy option.

Simpson placed 15th at the PLAYERS last year, but he has struggled here previously. He hasn't had a top-20 appearance since February and will be the ultimate hit-or-miss golfer this week.

Before missing the cut at the Masters, Dufner posted three straight top-14 finishes. He has had several weeks to rest and JD should be ready for another top-20 finish this week in Florida.

DeLaet has five top-10 finishes this season and he has only missed the cut once in 11 tournaments. The Canadian has matured tremendously this season, but he will have a tough time with all the big names in the field this week.

Following a fifth place finish at the Masters, Fowler missed the cut at the Zurich Classic and finished 38th at the Wells Fargo last week. Fowler has been brilliant at times, but the inconsistencies in his game will keep him from cracking the top-10 this week.

McDowell has shockingly racked up six top-10 finishes in nine appearances this season. The Scotsman will live on the fairways this week in Florida.

Mickelson hasn’t cracked the top-20 at TPC Sawgrass in the last three years. He is coming off a decent performance at the Wells Fargo Championship and Lefty now has five top-19 finishes in his last seven tourneys. He won't be worth reaching for, but he will be a great second golfer to roll with this week.

Mahan has three top-20 finishes at TPC Sawgrass in the past four years, including a sixth place finish in 2011.

Westwood finished eighth here in 2013 and fourth in 2010. He is another veteran that will be heavily ignored in fantasy circles this week, but don't overlook his past success at TPC Sawgrass.

Johnson has cracked the top-19 at TPC Sawgrass in four straight years, including a second place finish back in 2012. ZJ will be a great second golfer to grab this week.

Donald finished 19th at TPC Sawgrass in 2013, sixth in 2012, and fourth in 2011. The veteran will be worth looking for this week in Florida.

After a rocky start to the 2014 season, Stenson has really turned things around. The Swede has recorded three top-16 finishes in his last four appearances. He has two straight top-15 finishes at TPC Sawgrass and will be a reliable veteran to grab after the big names come off the board.

In 10 events worldwide, Garcia has cracked the top-20 in nine of them, with the only exception being the Masters last month. He is having a resurgent season and will be in the mix all week long.
