5 Cleveland Browns You Should Draft in 2014 Fantasy Football

If nothing else, the Cleveland Browns should be an entertaining team to watch this year. They had a successful offseason as they added some key defensive talent and drafted one of the most polarizing players in all of sports. Either way, they have a few players you should keep an eye on for your fantasy team. Here are five of them.

I know that the Cleveland Browns' front office stated that he is a backup quarterback, but let's be real, Johnny Manziel is going to start at some point this year. He is a franchise-changing player, and if the Browns struggle, how can they let him sit on the bench? Once in the game, he brings a completely different dynamic to the field as his improvisation could lead to fantasy gold.

While Johnny Manziel waits in the wings, let's look at Brian Hoyer. He played three games last season for the Browns, and until a nasty knee injury against the Buffalo Bills ended his season, he brought some excitement to Browns' fans. The team has added weapons this year, so he should be a solid fantasy option at quarterback.

The Cleveland Browns had a very solid defense last year as they ranked in the top 10 in yards allowed. In the offseason, they signed Donte Whitner after T.J. Ward left, and after drafting Justin Gilbert in the 2014 NFL Draft, they have the potential to have two shut-down corners with Joe Haden already lining up on the other side.

Ben Tate finally gets his chance to start after backing up Arian Foster in Houston for a few years. While he wasn't used often, he was successful when he had his opportunities. The Browns now have a legitimate running back to take the pressure off of Brian Hoyer. I would expect the Browns to ride Tate for the majority of the year, especially with Josh Gordon's season still up in the air.

Jordan Cameron is already one of the best tight ends in the NFL, and he should be one of the first five tight ends taken in fantasy football this year. With all the issues at quarterback last year, he still finished with 80 catches for 917 yards and seven touchdowns. I can't imagine that 2014 will be much different.
