5 Sleeper Defensive Back For Week 2
To help you set your lineup in IDP leagues, here are five fantasy football sleepers at the defensive back position for Week 2 of the 2014 season.

Carolina will have their hands full with Detroit’s passing game this week, mainly Calvin Johnson. Harper will be asked to pay more attention to the superstar receiver and it will likely result in him adding a couple more hits. If you need a low-end DB2 this week, take a shot in Harper.

Landry will have a lot on his plate this week against the high-flying Philadelphia Eagles. Chip Kelly will be looking to keep his foot on the gas all game long, so Landry will se plenty of opportunities to make plays. Look for him to finish with 8-10 hits on Monday night.

Nelson will have a big task this week trying to contains the Falcons offense this week. Atlanta threw the ball all over the field in Week 1 and the offense looks explosive with a health Julio Jones and Roddy White on the outside. Nelson will be running all over the field and will easily be able to finish the game with six hits.

While New York’s offense continues to struggle, their secondary keeps getting better and better. Arizona QB Carson Palmer has looked far from impressive this year and will likely toss a couple more picks this week. Look for Brown, and the rest of the G-Men defense, to make a couple big plays this Sunday afternoon.

Branch was once a top-tier DB in fantasy IDP formats, but several injury-plagued seasons have caused his value to plummet in recent seasons. He had a monster outing in Week 1, though, as he finished with seven tackles, one interception, and one PD. Branch seems healthy and ready to reclaim his spot among the top-10 defensive backs.
